What is Livingston Young Professionals (LYP)?
Livingston Young Professionals (LYP) is a program of the Livingston Parish Chamber of Commerce for 21—40 year olds to: CREATE OPPORTUNITIES
for young professionals to build relationship, DEVELOP
leadership skills, ADVANCE
careers in the business community while continuing to PROMOTE

To involve Young Professionals & offer them the opportunity to learn and experience the dynamics of advancing causes and the free enterprise system within their community. As well as to engage young professionals to: build skillsets, encourage collaboration between the age group, further leadership positions for the common good. Members of the group are engaged through Community Service Partnerships, Mixers, Socials, and Networking, Leadership Development & Speaker Series.
Who Can Join?
YOUNG PROFESSIONALS (21-40) who wish to advance the goals and objectives the Young Professionals program, the objectives of the Chamber and the overall prosperity of Livingston Parish. Representatives of Chamber Business Members & Stakeholders are encouraged to join and / or add qualified professionals from their staff.
There is an annual fee to help cover a portion of the administrative costs of the program. Chamber Members LYP Dues: $35/year per individual. Future Chamber Members LYP Dues: $75/year for a limited time per individual.
The calendar year for membership dues is July through June. (Guests may attend 2 sessions to vet the program. After 2 sessions, membership is required.)
