Chamber Ambassadors are a select group of business professionals whose role is to inform and engage current and potential member businesses of the chamber and its role. Ambassadors act as a liaison between businesses and the chamber bringing the actions and activities of the chamber to business and business issues to the chamber. Ambassadors assist in welcoming new attendees and assuring a comfortable transition into the chamber.
Ambassadors are outgoing, experienced members who know how to get the most from their chamber membership and are enthusiastic to share the “chamber connections and experience” with other professionals. Referrals to chamber businesses are a benefit of the program and chamber membership. Ambassadors are spotlighted in several opportunities including. Ambassador of the Year, Leads for Lunch planning and facilitation, welcoming guests and new members to chamber functions alongside the board of directors makes Ambassadors an elite group.
Ambassadors should have:
- Willingness and understanding of Chamber features and benefits.
- ability to reach out to your contacts and invite them to join the chamber.
- Flexibility in their schedule. A commitment to peer Ambassadors.
- Assist in delivering new member, renewal and prospective packets in coordination with the Chamber office.
- Welcome Guests and assure high turn out at events.
