Livingston Parish's Chamber is a winner of state wide awards and, since 2012, has been named the Louisiana State Chamber of the Year in its respective category twice, once in 2012 and most recently in 2015. The Chamber has also been awarded national and state scholarships. The latest state wide award for the Chamber was being named the inaugural winner of Economic Development Partner Award by LABI, the state chamber of commerce. The basis for the award is the representation of our business community particularly through the Great Flood of 2016. The Chamber's location also suffered considerable damage from flood waters and remained dedicated to our business community.
In addition, the Livingston Parish Chamber was recognized in an international chamber publication, Chamber Executive Magazine, and recently nominated for an international Communication Excellence Award. The out come of that nomination will be finalized in July.
