Shop Livingston Parish Initiatives
Like all Chambers of Commerce, the Livingston Parish Chamber is the community’s “front door” to business. The chamber is set up to represent and promote the area’s economy and encourage local business in order to broaden the tax base and provide employment. The chamber is the community’s door to business prospects and newcomers.
Back 2 Biz and #Shop Livingston Parish are community wide initiatives led by the Livingston Parish Chamber to improve our local economy by encouraging consumers and business decision makers to support local businesses when making purchases. These initiatives seek to promote and accelerate the Livingston Parish economy by encouraging business and consumers to keep their dollars local, where the impact can be significant as dollars recirculate locally. Learn about Back 2 Biz and #ShopLivingstonParish below.
Back 2 Biz Initiative
Although the Chamber office at 248 Veterans Blvd. in Denham Springs also flooded from the historic rainfall amounts, we've continued to remain committed to our community, businesses and their employees.
Within a week, the Chamber was ready to showcase Livingston Parish Business by identifying open businesses, generating awareness through Back 2 Biz videos and photos - reaching over 40,000 people, listing publicity partnerships, and keeping business and community informed. We have been actively advocating on behalf of business and connecting resources for our citizens. Getting business back to business is our priority. Livingston Parish and each of its communities have shown compassion, strength, fellowship, kindness and resolve. We couldn't be prouder to be a part of this parish! In order to bring awareness to this strong need, we developed Livingston Parish Getting Back 2 Biz Campaign. Please view the resources below.
