Chamber Cares
Chamber Cares was formed in response to members of the chamber and their desire to learn more about issues within the community.
The Chamber does care about the community and is formed to improve the parish, and each individual area, from both the business and resident aspect. Having a caring community is a positive impact for businesses wishing to locate to the area.
Brand new and launched in 2017, Chamber Cares' concept is to coordinate opportunities for chamber individuals and others to get involved in services directly to the community. Projects and volunteerism will be coordinated with other community service programs of the chamber including Leadership Livingston Alumni, Chamber Education Committee & Livingston Young Professionals.
The Chamber's Leadership Livingston program began offering Community Service Projects through Class Groups in 2012. Some of the organizations and project conceptualized and served include: Mighty Moms Full Tummy Barrel Program, Veterans Memorial Wall in Albany, Hope House l Human Trafficking Awareness, J&N Albany Park, Helipad in Killian, Shoes for Children, Challengers Ball Field in Walker. Heart & Sole is an ongoing program of the Chamber and its Leadership Alumni program. Contact April at the Chamber to get involved or learn more.
